Our Path
The Durham Islamic Society is the newly formed society of old aspiration to establish a society to help community and to establish a masjid to serve the community needs in North America. The idea of its existence was born in 1996. Our aim is to serve the Muslims of Durham and surrounding along with other faith based communities, be a beacon of light to illuminate and serve our city. Durham Islamic Society welcomes not only Muslims but also people from different faith to know more about Islam and help in spreading peace and love.
